All Kentucky high school students were invited to participate in the contest. Students were asked to submit their artwork, based on the following theme: “What does the Kentucky Derby look like to you?”

“Each year, Matt and I are so impressed by the outstanding entries we receive from Kenutcky’s high school students,” said Mrs. Bevin. “It is always a challenge to choose a winning poster design from such a talented group of young people. We congratulate the three finalists and look forward to seeing where their talents take them in life.”
