With many regional businesses conducting international business, exporting is vital, which why the Northern Kentucky International Trade Association (NKITA) and DHL will host Exporting 101 on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. The class will cover basic information businesses need to know to export products out of the country.

The Exporting 101 class will be presented by Alan Majchrzak, DHL’s Director of Import Compliance and 20-year veteran of DHL Express. Majchrzak is a licensed Customhouse Broker with more than 35 years of experience in import brokerage. While at DHL, he has held various positions including Gateway Import Manager at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport hub, U.S. Director of Import Compliance, and was involved in U.S. development and implementation of DHL’s proprietary export/import application.

“DHL has pioneered international express shipping virtually everywhere, which makes Alan uniquely qualified to present this class,” said Debby Shipp, Vice President International Affairs and Business Growth for the NKY Chamber. “We get a lot of calls from small to mid-size businesses asking about exporting laws and regulations, which is great because Northern Kentucky businesses can expand their markets and diversify their revenue streams by exporting.”

Exporting 101 will take place at the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce (NKY Chamber) (300 Buttermilk Pike, Suite 330, Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017), Registration is $20 for NKY Chamber members, and $35 for future NKY Chamber members. Registration is available online at www.nkychamber.com/events.
