Boone County Public Library adult calendar of events for March includes kickoff of travel program, concerts


The Boone County Public Library offers events at its branches and throughout the county during the month of March. A list of scheduled events for adults is included here. A separate list of events for teens and children is published separately.

Series: Ready to Travel? Let’s Go!
The travel program the Boone County Public Library offered last spring was such a big hit that it has put together an entire series with travel topics. Light refreshments will be served. Please register for these programs.

Cruises – Tuesday, March 5, Scheben Branch, 6:30 pm
Joe Underwood with Cruise Planners will discuss the dynamics of today’s cruise industry. The discussion will include how cruise lines are trying to attract adventure seekers by adding more onboard activities like roller coasters and go carts! Joe will also talk about River Cruising, the fastest growing segment in the cruise industry.
