NKY Young Professionals starts new year with wellness and self-care roundtable on January 17

For many the new year kicks off with a renewed focus on health and wellness and an eagerness to discover new ways to reach this goal. On Thursday, January 17 Northern Kentucky Young Professionals (NKYP) will host a roundtable about Wellness and Self-Care in the New Year at Braxton Brewing Co. (2 W. 7th Street, Covington).

Representatives from the R.C. Durr YMCA, Orangetheory Fitness Newport, Ft. Wright CrossFit, and Tri-State Running Company will offer insights about making fitness fun and will share their unique approaches to wellness and how they’ve each been successful at growing their companies.

Attendees will hear about the importance of setting aside time dedicated to self-care and learn how this focus can have a positive impact on their roles as professionals.

“Healthy habits can be critical to preventing burnout and boosting energy in the workplace,” said Amanda Johannemann, Director of Talent Strategies for the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.

“We’re excited to start the new year with a program that will provide attendees with strategies for reaching both their personal and professional health goals.”

The Wellness and Self-Care in the New Year Roundtable will run from 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m.

Registration is free for NKYP Passport Holders, $25 for NKY Chamber Members, and $40 for future Chamber members. Registration and additional information is available online.

Sponsors for the event include Title Sponsor Duke Energy and Event Sponsor RC Durr YMCA.
