Transitions Inc. will celebrate grand opening of 180-bed Residential Treatment Center December 17

Transitions, Inc. will celebrate the Grand Opening of a 180-bed Residential Treatment Center (RTC) on Monday, December 17, with an Open House from 7:30 – 9:30 a.m. and from 4 p.m.–7 p.m.

This new facility is located at 313 Madison Pike, Erlanger.

The RTC will increase residential treatment capacity to 180 beds, provide treatment on demand – admitting individuals within 180 minutes and help individuals turn their lives around 180 degrees.

“We are excited about the opportunities this facility will provide for our region, but most importantly, the help it will give to people in our community in desperate need of treatment for their Substance Use Disorder. This facility represents HOPE for an incredibly difficult and sometimes deadly disease,” Jim Beiting, CEO of Transitions, Inc.

The RTC will offer the opportunity for people to get better by providing top-notch drug and alcohol treatment with no waiting list. The Continuum of Care under this roof will range from detox to residential treatment to intensive outpatient that will be enhanced with supportive services including medical care, mental health therapy, medication-assisted therapy, supported employment, case management and sober living.

Coming up on their 50th Anniversary, Transitions is uniquely equipped to address the heroin epidemic as well as other Substance Use Disorders. Transitions opened the first non-medical residential treatment program in Greater Cincinnati in 1970 and the first non-medical detox unit in Northern Kentucky in 1975. In 1992, Transitions was recognized as the first residential treatment program in Kentucky for women accompanied by children.

Transitions is a Behavioral Health Service Organization, accredited by the Commission Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), a certified Trauma Informed Care Organization and all treatment locations are licensed by the State of Kentucky as Alcohol and Other Drug Entities.

The RTC is part of Transitions’ strategic response to the heroin epidemic as well as other Substance Use Disorders. It is made possible as a result of the support and generosity of the Kenton County Fiscal Court, the City of Erlanger, as well as many local foundations, businesses and private citizens. The facility was renovated by EGC Construction and partial financing was provided by Forcht Bank.

The public is invited to tour the facility before patient admission begins on December 19th.

Due to privacy concerns, members of the public will not be able to access most of the facility once patients are accepted.

Hello. Just curious if I am allowed to write letters and visit a person in your facility. I’ve been going through all the web sights and can’t find anything on either. I hope you get I side that brain of hers and and find a way to get her on the right track
