Lt. Gov. Jenean Hampton will be swearing in Jessica Fette, Erlanger’s first woman mayor, on December 18


The Oath of Office ceremony swearing-in Erlanger’s new Mayor, three new council members, and nine returning council members will take place on Tuesday, December 18, at 7 p.m. at the Erlanger City Building, 505 Commonwealth Ave.

“I am honored to have been chosen by my neighbors in Erlanger to lead our city into a four-year term with the principals of cooperation, compassion and respect,” said Mayor-Elect Jessica Fette.

“Erlanger has needed a voice to inspire others to get involved in their community.”

Lieutenant Governor of Kentucky Jenean Hampton will be presiding over the Oath of Office ceremony.

“Lt. Gov. Hampton has been a shining example of how good leaders operate. She’s made a career of questioning the status quo and we are honored to have her swearing in our elected officials.”

Tuesday will mark the first time Erlanger has had a woman as Mayor in its over 100-year history.

All are welcomed and encouraged to attend.

Remarks by the newly elected officials will be followed for members of the public in attendance.
