Weekend activities at Kenton County Library celebrate the holiday and are free to all


Here’s the full list of holiday-related events taking place at the Kenton County Public Library locations this weekend:

Pictures with Santa

Sat., Dec. 1, 1-3 p.m.

Bring your camera for a free picture with Santa! We’ll also have crafts for the kids. Kenton County Public Library, 1992 Walton-Nicholson Rd., Independence.

Model Trains for the Holidays

Saturday, Dec. 1, 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 2, 1-4 p.m.


Covington

Tri-State N-TRAK fills the room with their annual model train display, specially designed scenery and model train layouts. Kenton County Public Library, 502 Scott Blvd., Covington

Tween book to Movie Club: How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Ages 9-13
Sat., Dec. 1, 2-4 PM

Erlanger
Read the book by Dr. Seuss then join us for a showing of the film followed by a brief discussion. Popcorn provided! Kenton County Public Library, 401 Kenton Lands Road, Erlanger.

Santa Claus, Crafts, and Cookies!

Sunday, Dec. 2, 1:30-3 p.m.

Erlanger
Bring your camera to take a picture with Santa Claus. Decorate a cookie and make a holiday craft and meet some of the dancers from Kinderballet’s production of The Christmas Carol. Kenton County Public Library, 401 Kenton Lands Road, Erlanger.

Storytime with Santa

Santa Claus will join us to read stories and visit with the children. There will also be a photo frame craft so you can frame your holiday memory at home. Make sure to bring your own camera! Kenton County Public Library, 502 Scott Blvd., Covington.
