NKU’s Friends of Steely Library to host David Pepper as part of its annual literary series Nov. 28


Northern Kentucky University’s Friends of Steely Library will host David Pepper as part of its annual literary series on November 28.

Pepper will discuss his two political thrillers, “The People’s House” and “The Wingman,” followed by a book signing and reception.

Pepper has over 15 years in Ohio politics, including terms on the Hamilton County Board of Commissioners and Cincinnati City Council. He is chair of the Ohio Democratic Party.

He gained national attention as an author from his first political thriller, “The People’s House,” which predicted Russian interference in U.S. elections. He is Chair of the Ohio Democratic Party.

“We are excited to have David speak, as there is a lot of similarities between his books and real-life events,” said Ken Gunkel, president of Friends of Steely Library.

The event is free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase at the event.

Created in 1985, Friends of Steely Library supports NKU’s Steely Library with programs to enrich the lives of students by creating long-lasting impressions in pursuit of their artistic and scholastic interests.
