NKY Chamber’s Women’s Initiative presents ‘Mastering Art of Negotiation’ on November 7

Far too often, women have failed to negotiate, which has ramifications across their personal and professional lives.

That’s why the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Women’s Initiative sponsored by PNC is pleased to present the next event in its Professional Series: Mastering the Art of Negotiation, presented by Delta Air Lines.

Kimberly Luse

The event will take place from 7:30-9 a.m. on Wednesday, November 7 at the Erlanger branch of the Kenton County Public Library (401 Kenton Lands Road, Erlanger).

Presenter Kimberly Luse, Principal and Founder of Strategic Ethical Solutions, International, will deliver a presentation to attendees that focuses on women in negotiations.

The presentation will include information on why women are still hesitant to negotiate, raising awareness about personal negotiation skillsets, short and long-term ramifications when negotiations do not occur, and pathways to improve negotiation skills.

“There is data-driven research that explains the phenomenon surrounding the differences between male and female negotiations,” said Luse. “Understanding the issues and becoming confident in the ability to negotiate is key for professional and personal interactions.”

Registration for the Women’s Initiative Professional Series: Mastering the Art of Negotiation is $35 for Chamber members and $50 for future members. Pre-registration is required online at www.nkychamber.com/events.
