2 Mega Millions winners in Ky get $1 million second-place prizes; jackpot rises to estimated $900m

A $1 million Mega Millions ticket was sold in Madisonville at Wicks Well Market & Deli and another was sold in Lexington. The winners matched all the white ball winning numbers but not the Mega Ball to win the game’s second prize.

Winner of the Madisonville $1 million ticket was Ronnie Parker, 65, of Dawson Springs.

There was also a $150,000 winning ticket in the Powerball drawing, sold in Owensboro.

There was no winner of the big Mega Millions jackpot which is estimated to be $900 million — the second-largest in history. The next drawing is Friday night.

The retailers will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The Powerball rolls to an estimated $430 million for Friday’s drawing.
