Four Candidates: Vote for change in Silver Grove schools with these four candidates for school board

There are currently eight people running for four upcoming openings on the Silver Grove Independent School Board.

The four people listed below believe it is time for change.

Silver Grove Independent School is ranked near the bottom of all schools in the State of Kentucky.  According to an article published by the River City News, test scores are ranked below average and ACT scores are second lowest in the state. Unfortunately, due to repeated below average test results, we feel that if elected, we would be open to new opportunities that can provide additional benefits to the students and families of Silver Grove.

Our main goal is to offer the children, parents, and every citizen of Silver Grove more opportunities for a better education.

As a group, we agree that one of the first steps is to discuss merger possibilities with Campbell County schools.

We have also discussed the need to re-evaluate the concept of reciprocal funding, as well as being open to any possibility for additional resources to benefit the students.

We cannot express the importance of voting on November 6.

Our students deserve better educational resources, and we believe, with the help of the current administration, teachers, and staff of Silver Grove Independent School, we can help lead our school to better results.

Thank you for your vote.
