The Center for Great Neighborhoods has announced its 2018 award winners who will be honored on Nov. 3, 4-6 p.m. at the Hellman Creative center, 321 W. MLK Blvd.

The event is free. It will include a look back at The Center’s accomplishments in 2018, a celebration of community leaders and food by the first graduates of The Center’s FreshLo Chef Fellowship program.
Funded through the Kresge Foundation, the FreshLo program helps people develop good food ideas into great food businesses. With a focus on culturally-inspired and/or healthy food, the Chegs will share a diverse menu highlighting local flavors as well as internationally-inspired dishes.
