I love Northern Kentucky. My roots are in this community. I was born and raised here. I have lived most of my life in Kenton County. I attended Beechwood and my family attended Blessed Sacrament Church.

After graduating from Northern Kentucky University in 2005, I attended graduate school at Ohio University and work at Syracuse University in the Public Safety Department. While away, I had three children. I decided to move back to Northern Kentucky because I knew it was a great place to raise a family.

Josh Blair

What do I love about Northern Kentucky?

I love the great schools, variety of parks, local businesses, and friendly neighbors. I love the walkability of our neighborhoods. It’s not too big, and it’s not too small. It’s just right.

Whenever I go out, I always run into someone I know. You can drive ten minutes one direction to a major city, or ten minutes the other direction to the country. If you ask someone where they went to school, you’re asking about their high school.

We take pride in where we’re from.

I love my home, and I know you do, too. That’s why I want to preserve the integrity and safety of our community by supporting our schools, state employees (teachers, police, firefighters, social workers), small businesses, and hard-working families.

As a professor at NKU, I see college tuition increase every year. This hurts families and students who are trying to get ahead in life. It also harms job development by pricing higher education out of reach for so many people. Investing in education is investing in job growth and our future.

My platform is simple: supporting education, improving animal welfare, fighting heroin, implementing a fair tax structure, transparency in government, and strengthening small businesses. When I am in Frankfort, I will be a true representative of everyday Kentuckians.

For the first time in 18 years, the residents of KY House District 63 have a choice.

And the choice is clear: Josh Blair is the right candidate to move Kentucky forward.
