Hands Pike in South Covington will be closed to traffic at Edwin Drive during business hours next week.
Road crews from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will be digging out ditches on the side of the road, working on shoulders and doing pavement repairs, officials from the Cabinet’s Northern Kentucky office said.
People who live east of Edwin Drive can access their homes from Ky. 16, those who live west will need to come from Ky. 17.
The road will be closed to through traffic at Edwin Drive from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, officials said.
Once pavement repairs are complete on Hands Pike, also known as KY 1501, resurfacing will begin the early part of October.
