Disability Empowerment Conference to be held Oct. 9 at Life Learning Center; register to vote, too

The 6th annual Disability Empowerment Conference will take place Oct. 9th for 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Life Learning Center, 20 W. 18th St., Covington.

Topics will include Housing, mental health, legislation concerning people with disabilities, and Medicaid.
 
There will be a meet-and-greet for local candidates, a voters’ registration table, and vendors from across the area.
