Connect with new executive director, artist Adam Wisler, Lincoln Grant Scholar House at NKCAC event

Connect with Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission’s (NKCAC) new Executive Director Catrena Bowman-Thomas at the Connect with Art event Tuesday, Sept. 18 at the Lincoln-Grant Scholarship House in Covington from 5-7 p.m.

NKCAC invites the public to the free event to also “connect” with local artist Adam Wisler.

One of NKCAC’s signature programs, Lincoln Grant Scholar House (LGSH), is an education and affordable housing initiative for single parents who are or plan to attend college.

NKCAC’s new Executive Director Catrena Bowman-Thomas joined NKCAC in July and will share her vision for Lincoln Grant Scholar House and other NKCAC initiatives.

Wisler has created five works of art he will be donating to LGSH to celebrate the opening of the Scholar House and the African American heritage the Scholar House represents.

These five watercolors along with his other work can be found here.

In addition to meeting the artist and viewing his artwork and meeting Bowman-Thomas, guests can tour the historic building, enjoy a DJ and light refreshments.
