Oktoberfest Zinzinnati, presented by Amazon and Samuel Adams and produced by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, will offer 110 varieties of beer.

The annual event takes place this weekend, September 21-23, 2018 on Second and Third Streets, between Walnut and Elm Streets in downtown Cincinnati.

More than 2,000 barrels of Beer are expected to be consumed at Oktoberfest Zinzinnati 2018. That’s nearly 4 million fluid ounces.

WHAT’S BREWING FOR OKTOBERFEST ZINZINNATI 2018:

  • Sam Adams founder and Cincinnati native, Jim Koch will tap the ceremonial “first keg,” Saturday, September 22, 11:30 a.m. at the Oktoberfest Zinzinnati opening ceremonies, Second and Elm Streets.
  • Featured brews, Samuel Adams Octoberfest and Sam ’76, will be served by Oktoberfest Zinzinnati’s co-presenting sponsor, Sam Adams.
  • The Zinzinnati Craft Bier Garten, at Third and Race, will return and feature five regional Cincinnati breweries: 513, Braxton, Fretboard, MadTree, and Rhinegeist.
  • Oktoberfest Zinzinnati favorite, Spaten, has returned to the region – and will again be served at America’s Oktoberfest.
  • Sierra Nevada is partnering with Freising, Germany’s Weihenstephan, the world’s oldest brewery, for a 2018 Oktoberfest beer. This German-American collaboration, a drinkable festival lager, will be featured at Oktoberfest Zinzinnati.
  • The Braxton Fass Bar, at Third and Walnut Streets, will feature weekend sports and more on a 20-foot LED TV atop an elevated stage. Extending from the stage will be two 30-foot bars and a seating area. Every time a keg blows at the Braxton Fass Bar, bartenders will create a chaotic scene with whistles, flags and a Braxton Fass bar toast. If you’re the person who ordered the keg-blowing beer, you receive an official “Braxton Fass Morder (keg killer)” t-shirt Additionally, Braxton will offer timed tappings throughout Oktoberfest Zinzinnati weekend.
