St. Elizabeth launches Game of The Month program for Northern Kentucky high school sports

St. Elizabeth Healthcare has partnered with In-Game Sports to launch its new Game of The Month program for Northern Kentucky high school sports on Monday. The two-day celebration will feature Ludlow at Dixie Heights in girls’ varsity soccer on August 27 and Cooper at Simon Kenton in boys’ varsity soccer on August 28.

“Our close ties with the communities of Northern Kentucky is something that we take pride in. Particularly, our work in many of the area high schools, providing athletic training services and care,” says Scott Helton, Director of Sports Medicine and Athletic Training Services for St. Elizabeth. “We experience firsthand, the effort that each team, coaching staff and school put in each season. We’re happy to bring extra recognition and attention to that effort.”

This program offers a new focus on promoting Northern Kentucky high schools and their athletes. The program will run through May of 2019.

“We’re excited to bring added attention to all the hard work and ‘sweat equity’ of not only high school athletes right here in Northern Kentucky, but the students, parents, administrators, coaches and fans that make high school sports in Northern Kentucky so special,” said Matt Hollenkamp, vice president of Marketing and Public Relations for St. Elizabeth. “The effort that everyone from the players to the fans invests each season and school year is something that we’re proud to recognize and celebrate.”

Throughout each season, St. Elizabeth encourages student and spectator crowdsourcing of the best images and video highlights from each game. Each video submission has the potential to be featured in year-end celebration and awards celebration focused on the accomplishments of Northern Kentucky’s athletes, high schools, and communities.

The goal of In-Game Sports is to stage first-class high school sports events that positively impact the experience of student-athletes, the schools they represent and enhance the quality of life in the community.

The end of year event will focus on the accomplishments of Northern Kentucky high schools and athletes. Presented in a quick, video-centric format, the end of year celebration event will be the first to focus only on the Northern Kentucky high school and high school sports community. Fox19’s Joe Danneman and Jeremy Rauch have confirmed to emcee the event. Other details will be announced shortly.
