A new award presented by the Horizon Community Funds will be presented to Mike Sipple Jr. of Centennial & Talent Magnet Institute at the annual dinner of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce on Sept. 20.
The Horizon Award recognizes the extraordinary contributions of an individual who exemplifies dedication, integrity, and honorable service to Northern Kentucky through community leadership. Recipients are individuals who have devoted their time, talents, and expertise to serve the public good, and who have made significant, demonstrable, and direct contributions to our community’s well-being.

He truly is a leader who will undoubtedly continue to make a significant impact in our community in the future.”
President of the talent strategy and executive search company, Centennial, Founder of the Talent Magnet Institute, and host of the Talent Magnet Institute Podcast, Sipple is known as a leading connector in the executive search industry.
Passionate about community engagement, he serves in leadership capacities for nonprofits and private organizations including the Northern Kentucky Education Council, Pre-K Works, The Metropolitan Club, All Pro Dad, Leadercast, the Goering Center for Family and Private Business, and is a founding co-chair of the Horizon Community Accelerator.
“Those who have had the fortune of serving on a board or committee with Mike know how deserving he is of this honor,” said Brent Cooper, NKY Chamber president. “He is one of the hardest working community leaders I know. He is passionate about education, and about leadership development, on both sides of the river. He is also dedicated to his family, and is working hard to leave this region better than he found it.”
The annual dinner will take place at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center (1 West RiverCenter Blvd, Covington) on Sept. 20 and will begin at 5 p.m. with a networking cocktail reception followed by dinner and awards program at 6:30 p.m.
Individual tickets are $95 and a table of 10 is $950. Tickets are available to the cocktail reception only, for $60. Registration, along with a complete list of award recipients, can be found online.
