Future Fest: Get job and career training, work support and more at Kentucky Career Center Aug. 22

Center for Employment Training (CET) and Kentucky Career Center will host Future Fest, Wednesday, August 22, from 1-4:00 p.m. at Kentucky Career Center, 1324 Madison Avenue in Covington.

Attendees will explore CET’s debt-free job training programs, meet the Center’s employer partners and discover externship opportunities.

In addition to job and career training, Future Fest focuses on resources that help past, present and future trainees set themselves up for success not only at work but in other important areas of their lives.

Brighton Center’s Financial Wellness, Well-Suited, St. Elizabeth Physicians, Bluegrass Urgent Care, UPS and more will be represented.

The fest will provide prospective trainees an opportunity to learn about CET’s programs and meet with their potential future employers while having the easy access to important resources like childcare and healthcare information.

Brighton Center’s Center for Employment Training (CET) prepares individuals for careers in Medical Assisting, Health Technology Administration, and Business & Computer Technologies.

The training courses combine technical skills instruction with basic skills, work supports, success skills and employment placement services. CET is open-enrollment and though the program is self-paced, trainees typically complete in less than a year.

Please pre-register at tinyurl.com/BrightonFutureFest2018.

The event is free and open to adults as well as teens.
