CVG is celebrating #NationalAviationWeek by sharing fun facts and photos throughout the week on its Facebook page — and by hosting two events at the airport.
Today, from 3-5 p.m. Gold Star Chili and Graeter’s Ice Cream are partnering with CVG to celebrate and welcome more than 1,500 lucky passengers arriving at CVG with signature cheese coneys and ice cream.
Festivities also include a band and aviation-themed giveaways at the Welcome Point of CFG Terminal.
On Sunday, the public is invited to celebrate National Aviation Day at the Airport Viewing Area at 1459 Donaldson Highway in Erlanger.
Watch planes take off and land and enjoy the kids play area and a variety of selections from local food trucks.
