Cook finished sixth overall at the NCAA Division III Championship this past spring in the 400-meter dash. A graduate of Simon Kenton High School, Cook became the first-ever Thomas More women’s track & field athlete to be named an All-American with her finish at the national championship.

Cook’s final 400-meter dash run at the NCAA event capped an illustrious career at Thomas More as she qualified for four consecutive NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships and one NCAA Division III Indoor Championship.

She finished her career as a 19-time Presidents’ Athletic Conference champion as she won 10 events during her four years at the PAC Indoor Track & Field Championships and nine at the PAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Cook was also named the 2015, ‘16 and ‘17 PAC Indoor Track Most Valuable Player and was also the 2017 PAC Indoor Overall Most Valuable Player.

To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 and must have met at least one of the following athletic standards: competed in an NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Championship, and finished the regular season ranked in the national top-50 in an individual event or ranked in the national top-35 in a relay event on the official NCAA Descending Order List.

This year, there were 27 women who earned GPAs of 4.0 or better.
