Gov. Bevin appoints Karen Finan, Damon Van Allen to Community and Technical College System board


Gov. Matt Bevin has appointed two Northern Kentuckians to the board of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System Board of Regents.
 
Karen Finan of Ft. Mitchell is the president and CEO for the Northern Kentucky Regional Alliance. She will serve for a term expiring July 21, 2024; and 

Damon Van Allen of Covington is senior vice president and community investment officer for Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati. He will serve for a term expiring July 21, 2024.
 
KCTCS is governed by a 14-member Board of Regents.

Eight members are appointed by the Governor and six are elected members: two members of the teaching faculty elected by faculty; two members of the nonteaching personnel elected by nonteaching personnel; and two members of the student body elected by students.
