Ross, Sinclaire & Associates, LLC (RSA) has hired Anthony Strong, a veteran public school administrator with expertise in financing education-related projects, as a vice president of business development.

Strong, who is retiring June 30 as superintendent of Pendleton County Schools after leading the district since 2011, will join RSA’s Lexington office.

“Anthony Strong was an outstanding school superintendent who has tremendous knowledge and experience in understanding and financing education-related construction projects,” said RSA Vice President, Municipal Advisor Joe Nance. “His expertise will be a great asset to school districts across Kentucky.”

Ross, Sinclaire & Associates, LLC (RSA), is a full-service investment banking, securities brokerage and asset management firm dedicated to providing long-term superior results.

During his 14 years as superintendent of the Pendleton and Campbell County School Districts, Strong was involved with the construction or planning of more than $100 million in new and renovated education facilities.

“In all of these projects, RSA was the partner fiscal agent,” Strong said. “During that time I developed a great relationship with RSA and Joe Nance because of their commitment to the local school district and their ability to provide the best service from start to finish on a project.

“I am honored to be part of the RSA team that has the reputation as the premier financial partner of  Kentucky school districts and is known for its experience and expertise in all aspects of construction-related finance,” he said.

Strong said he looks forward to working with Kentucky school superintendents on financing construction projects.

“The superintendent job is getting more difficult each day,” Strong said. “Out of the 172 superintendents across our state, only three have more experience than me. I see this as an opportunity to work and help new educational leaders work to expand opportunities for the future.

“RSA was there to help me as a new superintendent, and I see this as an opportunity to give back to superintendents across the state,” he said.

During his 28 years in education, Strong earned a reputation as an expert in education finance. He made numerous presentations to school districts and education organizations.

Strong holds a Doctor of Education degree in Education Leadership and Administration from Northern Kentucky University (2015); a Superintendent Certification from Xavier University (2004); a Rank 1 certification from Northern Kentucky University (2000); a Master of Science degree in Vocational Education/Career and Technical Education from The University of Kentucky (1996); and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Education from The University of Kentucky (1986).

Along with its Cincinnati headquarters, RSA has offices in Ohio, Kentucky, California, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee. RSA specializes in multiple disciplines within investment banking and financial services, including: Municipal Finance, Corporate Finance and Institutional Sales and Trading. RSA is registered with the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) and a member of FINRA, the MSRB and SIPC.
