NKY Chamber to host one-hour training session for those interested in holding Manufacturing Day event

On Tuesday, August 7, the Advanced Manufacturing Industry Partnership (AMIP), Partners for a Competitive Workforce will conduct a one-hour training session at the Northern Kentucky Chamber (NKY Chamber) for companies interested in registering and hosting a Manufacturing Day or Month event.

Manufacturing Day is an annual, national event executed at the local level supported by thousands of manufacturers as they host students, teachers, parents, job seekers, and other local community members at open houses, plant tours, and presentations designed to showcase modern manufacturing technology and careers.

Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Southern Indiana Advanced Manufacturing companies will participate in this event by opening up their doors along with at least 30 (and growing) Advanced Manufacturing companies.

The training session will take place at the NKY Chamber, 300 Buttermilk Pike, Suite 330, Ft. Mitchell from 3 to 4 p.m.

There is no cost to attend.

Those interested in attending must register online at nkychamber.com/events.
