Thomas More track star Cook finishes sixth in 400-meter dash at NCAA Division III Championships

Thomas More College’s Christina Cook finished sixth with a time of 55.18 seconds Saturday in the finals of the 400-meter dash of the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championship hosted by Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Saturday’s 400-meter dash final capped an illustrious career for Cook at Thomas More as she qualified for four straight NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships and one NCAA Division III Indoor Championship. The Simon Kenton graduate finished her career as a 19-time Presidents’ Athletic Conference champion as she won 10 events during her four years at the PAC Indoor Track & Field Championships and nine at the PAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Cook was named the 2015, ‘16 and ‘17 PAC Indoor Track most valuable player and was also the 2017 PAC Indoor Overall most valuable player.
