NKY Health Department, Diabetes Coalition to host series of free ‘Taste of Activity’ classes in June


Participants Get ‘Taste of Activity’ at Free Classes
Physical activity is key factor in preventing, managing diabetes

The Northern Kentucky Health Department (NKY Health) and Northern Kentucky Diabetes Coalition will host a series of four free “Taste of Activity” classes to introduce participants to different kinds of exercise.

All sessions will be held from 6:30 – 8 p.m. Wednesdays at Boone County Extension Enrichment Center (1955 Burlington Pike) and include:

 June 6: Sit and Be Fit: Cardio-sculpting
 June 13: Chair Yoga
 June 20: Cardio-Dance
 June 27: Strengthen Your Core: Middle Eastern Dance

Registration for each class is appreciated. To register for a class or classes, call Boone County Cooperative Extension at 859-586-6101 or visit boone.ca.uky.edu and choose “online class registration.”
