Cincinnati Dutch Lions offering soccer camps for players of all ages; team’s first game May 20th


The Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC will provide your youth league or team, club, church, YMCA, or high school team with a terrific developmental opportunity for soccer players of all ages.

Camps with CDLFC are open to all skill levels and ages 5 to 18. Campers would have the opportunity to interact with high-level college and former professional players while having fun and learning new skills.

All campers will get to experience coaching from Paul Nicholson, current CDLFC Head Coach and retired FC Cincinnati player.

Founded in 2013, the Cincinnati Dutch Lions were purchased by Hans Philippo. Under this new ownership group, the Club’s new vision includes player apartments, team bus, new playing and training venue at Northern Kentucky University.

The Premier Development League (PDL) is the highest level of amateur soccer in the United States. There are 72 teams spread across US and Canada that compete from May to August. The PDL is a step in the professional soccer developmental pathway as 70 percent of Major League Soccer players have come through the PDL since 2010. Nine former CDLFC players have signed professional soccer contracts in the last three years.

The Cincinnati Dutch Lions will have a seven-game home schedule. All home games are played at Northern Kentucky University starting with season opener on May 20 at 4 p.m.

Tickets are available online at cdlfc.com/shop/ or can be purchased at the gate. Adult (21+) tickets are $8 and student (7-20) tickets are $6, children 6 and under get in free.
