2-day Mental Health Summit to be held June 22-23 at Florence Baptist Church

Mental Health is an issue that’s getting more attention these days — with school shootings and violence — but perhaps not enough attention.

Have you ever met a victim? Here’s your chance. Missy Jenkins was a victim of a school shooting in Kentucky. Her experience made her want to help others. She’s now a counselor.

Kevin Hines hoped to kill himself when he took a leap off the Golden Gate Bridge in 2000. He failed and discovered that he was meant to succeed in helping others save their own lives.

Both Jenkins and Hines have gripping stories and will be keynote speakers at the upcoming Mental Health Summit to be held at Florence Baptist Church on June 22-23.
