Cleveland Federal Reserve offers free workbook ‘guide to money’ during Financial Literacy Month


Cleveland Fed has updated its Great Minds Think: A New Guide to Money during Financial Literacy Month.

The free workbook is available in English and Spanish and aligned to state and national education standards.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland’s Learning Center and Money Museum unveiled the latest edition of its popular, free workbook Great Minds Think: A New Guide to Money.

Inside are lessons, activities, and information reimagined to keep kids engaged and help them better understand financial concepts including budgeting, saving, and earning money.

Since the first edition was released in 2008, nearly 800,000 copies of the book have been embraced by teachers, financial institutions, community organizations, and countless other groups committed to teaching kids the fundamentals of finance.

An increased focus on decision making and critical thinking and updated activities are designed to engage readers and encourage family or classroom discussion.

The free book is available in both English and Spanish and can be downloaded online.

It’s also available at the Cleveland Fed’s Learning Center and Money Museum, open Monday – Thursday 9:30 am to 2:30 pm (except holidays). Admission is free.

Interested parties can also request physical copies of the book through an online form.
