Florence’s Hilton Cincinnati Airport finishing major renovation, creates 9000 sq. ft. meeting space

Hilton Cincinnati Airport, part of Hilton Hotels & Resorts, growing portfolio of more than 570 properties around the world, is investing in a multi-million dollar renovation to all the public areas and rooms.

Renovated room

The hotel will feature new guest rooms, restaurant, banquet and meeting event space.

“This marks a new chapter for the hotel. We are providing a new look and a new experience to guests and attendees with brand new rooms and public areas. They will enjoy our new Herb N Kitchen as well as new meeting facilities.” said Imran Hussain, General Manager of Hilton Cincinnati Airport.

Designed by J. Kattman Associates, LLC and TRA, Hilton Cincinnati Airport will offer guests a sense of wonder as they approach the open floor plan inspired by an equine paddock.

Driven by the deep roots in agriculture, thoroughbred racing and industrial past the public area will apply the unique history of Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati in a timeless, modern aesthetic.

A modern take on classic pattern, texture, and form evokes familiarity and comfort. An organic color palette with accents of saturated color relates the rich, neutral hues of thoroughbreds with decorated jockeys on race day. Hints of gold, inspired by the state flower capture the essence of the landscape. Simply shaped case goods and furniture create a balanced aesthetic with eye-catching light fixtures and timeless carpet. Creating a modern experience with the feeling of comfort and ease, the Hilton Cincinnati will draw guests and locals alike inside to experience the Ohio Valley charm.

The hotel lobby

The 314 guest rooms have been completely redesigned and offer a luxurious Hilton Serenity Bed, 49” LCD television, and a digital panel that allows guests to connect and charge several digital devices at once for guest convenience. Cozy lighting and contemporary original artwork complete the look.

The second phase of the renovation started in January to be completed by late April, includes all of the meeting space and public areas:

The lobby and front desk will be relocated to give a very open concept with private pods.

The restaurant has a new name — Kentucky Crave — and menu including a la carte items to go.

The pool will have a complete makeover, adding a brand new fitness center, in addition to a new Hilton Honors lounge.

The meeting space will be completely transformed, expanding the square footage and giving meeting event planners more choices with two separate ballrooms to fit their needs based on number of attendees and desired size of an event. Each event room will be re-named to compliment the Kentucky heritage. Total square footage will be around 9000.

The new ballroom will be called Turfway Room and the main board room is the Florence Room.

“Our goal was to ensure that the Hilton Cincinnati Airport lead the way in terms of a premier meeting destination for the Ohio Valley,” Hussian said.

Located at 7373 Turfway Road, the hotel is conveniently and centrally located near downtown Cincinnati and just five miles from CVG. It is convenient to the Ark Encounter, Turfway Park, Northern Kentucky University, and local corporate parks, government offices, St. Elizabeth Hospital and other medical facilities.

Guests enjoy the close proximity to many local dining, shopping and entertainment venues.

The General Manager, Imran Hussian, said he and his team look forward to the Re-Grand Opening gala welcoming back our guests and continuing to offer the superb service and warm hospitality that has made the property a premiere choice for business travelers, meeting and event planners, and leisure guests since it’s unveiling in 1987.
