Emergency Shelter of Northern Kentucky hosts Homeless to Hopeful event at Drees Pavilion

NKyTribune staff

The Emergency Shelter of Northern Kentucky 6th annual Homeless to Hopeful event takes place Thursday, March 15 at the Drees Pavilion, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Enjoy stunning city views, dinner by Jeff Thomas Catering, a silent auction and the ESNKY signature March Madness Bourbon Trail auction.

ESNKY opened its doors for the first time in the winter of 2008 as the region’s only cold weather shelter for adults. In the summer of 2010, it began providing shelter during the warmer months for men who are working towards achieving housing, income and improvement of health.

It was started by a group of concerned citizens and business owners who wanted to ensure that our most vulnerable population had a place to go to during our coldest weather.

ESNKY provides shelter for adult men and women age 18 and older, who are Kentucky residents, on a first-come, first-served basis.

The ESNKY looks forward to a large turnout to help further its mission of providing lifesaving, life changing shelter to adults experiencing homelessness in Northern Kentucky.

Adult Tickets are $75 each and include catered dinner, tea, coffee and water. Cash bar is available.

Tickets can be purchased online, by calling Shelter at (859) 291-4555 or  by email at info@esnky.net

Drees Pavilion is located in Devou Park at 790 Park Lane, Covington.
