Boone County and the City of Florence have announced the dates times for their Tree Lighting Programs.

Details are included below:

Boone County Christmas Tree lighting Program
Friday, December 1
Historic Boone County Courthouse

6 p.m. Live Music by Bowman Music and Creative Outlet
6:20 p.m. Welcome from Judge/Executive Gary Moore
6:25 p.m. Santa Claus arrive at the gazebo
6:30 p.m. Santa Claus lights the Christmas tree
6:35 p.m. Refreshments, Santa pictures and kids crafts

Florence Christmas Tree Lighting Program

Tuesday, December 5
Florence Government Center
6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Activities include:

Bring your camera for Photos with Santa
Train Display
Sleigh Rides to view the Lighted Displays
Trees Decorated by Students of Elementary Schools in Florence
Holiday Music performed by the Florence Community Band & Chorus
Holiday Activities conducted by Florence Businesses & Organizations

**Please feel free to donate canned good items for United Ministries in barrels located in the Florence Government Center lobby**
