Architectural Group wins merit award from national organization for The Seasons @ Alexandria

C.C. Hodgson Architectural Group is a Merit Award Recipient from the American Institute of Architects for its work on The Seasons @ Alexandria project for the Baptist Life Communities (BCL) in Alexandria.

Baptist Life Communities (BLC) is Northern Kentucky’s largest nonprofit provider of senior healthcare, housing and services.

“Few issues of our time are more pressing than aging, a matter that your work demonstrates is a design issue both in the way we shape our communities and how we build those facilities that provide skilled medical care. I do not believe that even now there is a broad appreciation of what architects can contribute to the health of our communities. Thankfully, projects like yours are closing the knowledge gap,” said Thomas Vonier, president of the American Institute of Architects.

The Seasons @ Alexandria, a state-of-the-art community, will serve the 55+ communities of Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati.

Phase one will include a full range of therapies, memory support, personal care, skilled nursing, home health and long-term care situated on a ten-acre campus in Campbell County.

Phase two, Independent Living, will include a variety of choices and options, with artistically created layouts and designs.

C.C. Hodgson, a nationally renowned architectural firm specializing in the senior healthcare and housing sector designed the campus using rustic Italian villas as inspiration.

“The Seasons @ Alexandria is the next progression in quality care for the 55+ community,” said Dr. Robert H. Long, president and CEO of Baptist Life Communities.
