Covington Farmers Market presents Market to Table Dinner event to celebrate 2016 season


The Covington Farmers Market will celebrate its 2016 season with a Farmers Market to Table Dinner on Saturday, Aug. 13 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The event takes place during National Farmers’ Market Week On East Third Street between Court and Greenup streets in Covington.

The fun-filled evening of local foods and beverages will feature these choices presented by farmer’s market vendors:

– A soup course from Rock The Ladle

– Charcuterie and Cheeses from Catalpa Acres Farm

– Napoleon Ridge Farm/The Farm Girl Chef will cook the salad course and the main course (meat or vegetarian option available)

PieBird Pies

-Piebird will create the dessert pies.

-Nitro coffee will be provided by Smooth Cincy Coffee.

All ingredients will be sourced from all the vendors at the market, when possible.

Ticket price is $60 and includes four drink tickets.

Each guest will also receive a special gift bag, and there will also be a silent auction with some great prizes. Local beer and wine will be served, and music provided by Red Cedars. All proceeds to benefit the Covington Farmers Market programs.

The event is sponsored by Renaissance Covington, a nonprofit aimed at revitalizing Covington’s urban core.

There is limited seating with 60 total tickets available.

Vegetarian dinner will be available but the vegetarian option must be selected when ticket are purchased through eventbrite.
