Hemmer Company breaking ground on industrial facility in Blue Ash, collaborating with Citimark

Paul Hemmer Company is breaking ground on a 534,500-square-foot speculative industrial facility on Kenwood Road in Blue Ash.

Hemmer is constructing the building for Citimark, a full-service real estate investment and construction company. The spec project is under way to meet market demand.

This is Hemmer’s first collaboration with Indianapolis-based Citimark.

A true design/build project, Hemmer has been involved at every step of the way, beginning with developing concepts and determining budgets and coordinating the design, engineering and site plans. Now, construction is starting.

The new building, which is referred to as “Ten Nine Hundred” is located at 10900 Kenwood Road; its location in the heart of Blue Ash is unique.

“Citimark identified 10900 Kenwood Road as a great opportunity to re-enter the Cincinnati market,” said Josh Niederhelman, Citimark’s managing director for Cincinnati.

“While Citimark owned office property in Cincinnati in the past, the planned industrial speculative development required a partner with deep local resources and knowledge of the subcontractor marketplace. Paul Hemmer Company was identified early as the potential partner in developing this site and has been a valuable resource in crafting the ultimate project plan.”

Construction on 10900 Kenwood is expected to be complete by the end of the year.

This is Citimark’s second industrial project in Greater Cincinnati in 2016. They recently purchased an existing building at 100 Corridor Park Drive in Monroe, OH, which has expansion capability to 322,000 sf and is currently available for lease or sale.
