Gateway’s Human Services to host program fair and awards on Wednesday at Two Rivers Gym


Gateway Community and Technical College Human Services will host a program fair and awards on Feb. 17, from 4:45 – 5:45 p.m. in the Two Rivers Gym, 525 Scott Boulevard, at the Urban Metro Campus in Covington.

Gateway students and the public are invited to attend this event to learn more about the variety of human service educational opportunities at Gateway that lead to exciting careers in Aging Services, Disabilities Services, Substance Abuse Coaching and Mental Health.

Attendees will also receive information provided by Gateway departments and partners including over 30 community resources such as housing, healthcare, childcare, food assistance, tuition assistance, educational support, four-year institutions, employment opportunities and crisis intervention.

Current Human Services students may speak to community partners to secure service learning and internship placement for upcoming semesters.

In addition, local leaders and Gateway staff and students will be recognized by the Human Services Program in the following categories: Outstanding Community Partner, Make a Difference Award and Outstanding Human Service students.

This event is free and open to the public.
