‘Yes You Can’ 5k walk/run on July 15 supports Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired


Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CABVI) will host its Annual Yes You Can 5K Walk/Run to support services for people with vision loss on Sunday, July 15, 2018. Check-in starts at 7 am and the race begins at 8:30 a.m.

The event will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45232 (at the funeral home building entrance on Spring Grove Avenue, immediately north of Crawford Avenue). The 3.1-mile, certified course is a paved roadway through the scenic Spring Grove Cemetery grounds.

CABVI’s fundraising event includes walkers and runners who are blind or visually impaired using dog guides or sighted guides as well as people with other disabilities.

Q102 DJ John-John Curl and Norma Rashid will emcee the event, with award categories including top walkers and runners who are blind or visually impaired as well as wheelchair participants.

Presenting sponsor of the event is Zeta Sigma Chapter of Delta Gamma at Northern Kentucky University, Platinum sponsor OXO International, and Gold sponsor HORAN.
