Police locate the body of missing Covington woman near Rabbit Hash; three charged, including a juvenile

Covington Police located the body of Denita Satchwell late Thursday night in a wooded area near Rabbit Hash. The Boone County Sherriff’s Office assisted with the processing of the scene as well as recovering the victim.

Kenneth Maurice Jones, no known address,  was arrested late Friday night and was booked into the Kenton County Detention Center. He is charged with Murder, Robbery and Tampering with evidence.

He is related to Satchwell.

Jones, 38, also has two active warrants for his arrest in Kentucky for Probation Violation out of Kenton County and a Failure to Appear out of Campbell County.

Thursday, Covington Police charged Breadon Todd Reaves, 18, of Erlanger, with Facilitation to Homicide. He is also in the Kenton County Detention Center.

A juvenile has been charged with Murder, Robbery 1st Degree, and Tampering with Physical Evidence, in the death of Satchwell.

The juvenile has been lodged in the Campbell County Juvenile Detention Facility in Newport. Given the juvenile’s status, no other personal or identifying information will be released at this time.

Covington Police released a missing person alert on Satchwell Monday stating that she had a serious illness that requires time sensitive medication, which she did not have in her possession. At that time police indicated she had been feeling lonely and depressed and believed been intending to travel to Warsaw, Kentucky to an unknown cemetery to visit the grave of her mother.

She was last seen in-person last Saturday evening approximately 8 p.m. by neighbors.

Her vehicle was last seen traveling southbound on Madison Avenue at Latonia Avenue in Covington at 11:30 p.m. Saturday evening.
