TANK Gives FREE Rides on Southbank Shuttle Trolley while Roebling Suspension Bridge is closed

TANK’s Southbank Shuttle Trolley will be FREE to riders beginning Thursday, April 12.  Free rides will last through May 31.

“TANK recognizes that the closure of the Roebling Suspension Bridge has created a challenge for our customers and the residents and businesses in Covington, particularly those in the Park Place and Greenup area,” said Andrew Aiello, TANK General Manager. “Offering free fare on the Trolley is a way to say ‘thank you’ for sticking with us through this temporary situation.  The Southbank Shuttle Trolley is a great service for locals for every day trips and for tourists that are experiencing our riverfront and going to events like Reds games.  We’re excited to offer an opportunity for everyone to try it free of charge,”

Southbank Shuttle routing is modified during the bridge closure, yet will pick up at all regular stops. Stops can be found all along the route.

Service operates the following schedule every 15 minutes:

Sunday— 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Monday – Thursday— 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Friday— 6:00 a.m. to Midnight

Saturday— 10:00 a.m. to Midnight

For Reds games, added buses begin operating more frequent and extended game day service 2 hours before game time and the extra service continues for up to an hour after the end of the game.
