The Ninth Annual TGIF (Thank God it’s FREE) takes place Sunday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Burlington.
TGIF is an event that gives donated items (clothes, toys, housewares, furniture, etc.) away free to the public to help those in need.
When: Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 2:30-4:30 pm
Where: Immaculate Heart of Mary Church – 5876 Veterans Way in Burlington, KY 41005.
Donations are encouraged and volunteers are always needed.
Donations will be accepted daily through January 5 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at a truck in front of the church.
TGIF 2016 was a huge success, with 372 people served. Organizers say the event, which began in 2009, has provided assistance to 2,892 people to date.
