Event attendees were treated to Smoke Justis appetizers, and additional support was raised as each West Sixth Brewing Cocoa Porter purchased at the event gave back $1 to NKCAC.

As the third quarter recipient of West Sixth Brewing Company’s Pay It Forward Cocoa Porter campaign, NKCAC received a contribution of 50 cents for every six-pack of Cocoa Porter sold in the Northern Kentucky market.

In addition, Party Source and Stagnaro Distributing matched the donation at 50 cents each. The contribution totaled $1,702 from all of these source.

“We are very appreciative of the generosity and excited to be partner with the West Sixth Brewing Company,” says Florence Tandy, NKCAC Executive Director. “Their donation will support hard working families who are striving to achieve self-reliance.”

Each quarter, West Sixth Brewing selects four nonprofits throughout Kentucky as recipients of the Pay It Forward campaign. The recipient nonprofits are nominated by community members and voted on by the company’s employees.
