Inaugural Regional Black Student Symposium to be held Oct. 27-28 at NKU


African American Programs and Services and The Black Student Union at Northern Kentucky University are holding an inaugural Regional Black Student Symposium (RBSS).

The public is invited. It is free.

The mission of Regional Black Student Symposium (RBSS) is to create a place to gather/ exchange ideas and share experiences that will enhance the quality of life for undergraduate students and the community/region in which they serve!

The framework used for creating the symposium is intended to promote leadership development in 5 content areas:

• Collegiate involvement,

• Civil engagement and advocacy,

• Financial literacy, organizational growth and development,

• Diversity and inclusion strategies, and

• Life after undergraduate studies.
