Bankers, developers and development agency officials will want to mark their calendars to attend the Brownfields for Bankers Workshop on Aug. 10.

• Kentucky’s new brownfield law that reduces uncertainty in the redevelopment process,
• Incentives that are available to assist in brownfield redevelopment and
• A case study of how a community eyesore has been transformed into a thriving business and asset to the neighborhood.
Speakers include:
• Herb Petitjean, Brownfield Coordinator — Division of Compliance Assistance, Kentucky Brownfield Redevelopment Program, Kentucky Dept. for Environmental Protection
• Cindy Nolan, Brownfield Section Chief — Resource Conservation and Restoration Division: U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
