NKY’s Core Strong — a non-traditional gym — wins $25k award from Aviatra Accelerators

Aviatra Accelerators (formerly Bad Girl Ventures) awarded a $25,000 loan to Core Strong, a non-traditional gym located in a Covington warehouse where members improve their mental and physical strength without the distractions often found in a traditional commercial gym setting.

Core Strong offers a variety of classes such as yoga, boxing, core strength and core cardio led by a team of trainers whose passion is to make working out both fun and effective.

Stephanie Tieman, founder and owner of Core Strong, accepted the $25,000 check at Aviatra Accelerators’ Flight Night; a live pitch event where she competed against the four other members of the 2017 Spring LAUNCH for the loan. Each member of the class pitched their business plans live to a selection committee at New Riff Distillery.
