“It is such a great privilege to have Darrell Waltrip as our Guest of Honor for this year’s SCC Fundraising Dinner,” says Kentucky Chapter Director Dayna Winslette. “Darrell is a NASCAR Hall of Famer, three-time Cup Series Champion and true ambassador of the sport of auto racing. Closer to our hearts is the fact that he is an Owensboro native and was a design consultant of Kentucky Speedway, home to the Kentucky Chapter of SCC.”

Individual seats for this dinner are available only through pre-registration with SCC and are first-come, first-served. Guests may purchase a seat to this dinner for $1,000 each on or before the Early Bird Deadline of Friday, May 19. The price increases to $1,200 thereafter, with a Final Deadline of Friday, June 2.

The Kentucky Chapter of SCC is dedicated to helping children improve their quality of life, and through its various events and activities, the chapter strives to raise critical funds and provide grants to non-profit children’s organizations in Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana. The chapter has partnered with Feed the Children to distribute over 680,000 pounds of food and supplies to almost 14,000 families in need.

Because this event is hosted by a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, contributions over the Fair Market Value of the dinner are tax-deductible.

SCC is also looking for an exclusive Presenting Sponsor of the annual dinner for a contribution of $5,000. This includes two seats at the dinner, recognition in all event communication, grandstand tickets and garage passes for the NASCAR Cup Series race in July at Kentucky Speedway and more. A complete list of assets can be obtained by contacting SCC directly.

The event provides one-on-one interaction with Darrell Waltrip in a small, intimate setting, upscale dinner and beverages and a premium gift bag for each attendee. Guests will also have the opportunity to make an additional donation to SCC and walk away with an autographed photo board showing a special moment from Darrell’s career.

Monetary donations towards this event, without becoming the event’s Presenting Sponsor or purchasing a dinner seat, are also being accepted until Friday, July 14.

For additional information about this event, visit SCC’s website at  or contact Dayna Winslette at dwinslette@kentuckyspeedway.com or 859-567-3417 to RSVP.

The Kentucky Chapter of SCC has hosted several fundraising events, such as the Ride of a Lifetime Live Auction, Clay Shoot, Annual Dinner, Cornhole Tournament, memorabilia auctions and more. Over the past three years, the chapter has raised and awarded over $226,000 in grant funding to several organizations serving children in need in Kentucky, Southwest Ohio and Southeast Indiana.

Since its inception in 2011, the Kentucky Chapter of SCC and Kentucky Speedway have distributed a total of $536,000 in funding and assistance in the local area. For additional information about the chapter and its 2017 schedule of events, click here .
