Gerner & Kearns Co., L.P.A. has purchased and renovated a 25,200 square foot office building located on Tanners Gate Lane in Florence.

The building was formerly owned by The Bank of Kentucky. The building can be seen from I-75 across from the Florence Mall and is visible to approximately 250,000 cars traveling Interstate 75 daily. It is easily accessible from I-75 and conveniently located to downtown Cincinnati as well as the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.

Furthering its vision to be a prominent law firm and good corporate citizen, Gerner & Kearns’ purchase and renovation of this building will provide a much enhanced presence in Northern Kentucky as it continues to build its brand of Where Business is Personal in providing high quality legal services.

“The time had come to purchase an office building to house not only our employees located in Ft. Wright but also to consolidate employees located in other locations so that everyone could be under one roof thereby increasing our capacity, efficiency and effectiveness” said David Gerner, Managing Partner of Gerner & Kearns.

Gerner & Kearns currently has 65 employees.

Its affiliated title company, PRISM Title & Closing Services, Ltd., which has 22 employees, will be located on the third floor of the building so as to better serve their common clients.

Having been constructed in the 1980s, the building was ready for a new contemporary look so demolition and a redesign was in order. A team of designers, architects and general contractor have worked together to create the new space to modernize the image of the firm and to accommodate the work flow of its employees.

It contains state-of-the art technology and the high-level security to meet the needs of its clients. The new image serves as another leap in the firm’s evolution and progressive culture benefiting employees and clients alike and allowing for adaptability in providing its legal services.

“We have created a large gathering area equipped with a catering station, high-tech audio/visual equipment and cutting-edge design,” said Gerner.

“This unique space will create a vibrant atmosphere not only for employee training, meetings and events but will also be available to other businesses and clients to utilize for meetings, seminars and entertainment functions. We believe this is much needed in growing Northern Kentucky as businesses are becoming more progressive in the way they want to present to and entertain their clients.”
