KCTCS officially offering Gateway campus in Covington-Park Hills for sale — seeking bids

The Kentucky Community and Technical College System has officially put on the market two properties it owns in Covington and Park Hills.

These “surplus” properties include one at 1025 Amsterdam Road in Covington. It is about 22 acres with three buildings that contain about 8,500 square feet of classroom, office and shop space and four small storage buildings The back of the property has a “commanding, elevated view” of the Cincinnati skyline, says the advertised description of the property.

The other piece is located at 1030 Old State Road in Park Hills and is 3.9 acres with one building containing 34,800 square feet that is currently vacant and is adjacent to the first property.

The properties are deeded separately but will be sold together and will not be avilabe for possession until after closing set for September 1.

Sealed bids will be opened at 2 p.m on Thursday, June 23 at the KCTCS Office of Facilities Support Services in Versailles.

The buildings will be open for a site visiting on May 10 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The property will be sold to the party offering the highest bid, and pre-approval of financing must be included with the bid submissions.
