NKy Health District names officers for new fiscal year; Boone County’s Julie Metzger Aubuchon is new chair


The Northern Kentucky District Board of Health has selected Julie Metzger Aubuchon, OD, Jack Lenihan, DMD, and Chris Reinersman as officers for its fiscal year 2016, which runs from July 1, 2015, through June 30, 2016.

Metzger Aubuchon, representing Boone County, will serve as Chair. She is an optometrist with Metzger Eye Care with offices in Florence and Covington. Metzger Aubuchon serves on the Board as designee for Florence Mayor Diane Whalen. She is also a Florence City Council member and vice mayor.

Lenihan, a new Board of Health member representing Grant County, will serve as Immediate Past Chair. He is a dentist with Lenihan Dental in Crittenden.

Reinersman, a new Board of Health member representing Kenton County, will serve as Vice Chair. He is the Mayor of Independence.

Lynne M. Saddler, MD, MPH, District Director of Health, serves as Secretary to the Board.

John Muller and Tyson Hermes are also joining the District Board. Muller, representing Campbell County, is the designee for Fort Thomas Mayor Eric Haas. He is a Nursing Home Administrator with Carespring Healthcare Management. Hermes, representing Kenton County, is the Mayor of Erlanger.

The 24-member Northern Kentucky District Board of Health oversees the operations and policies of the Northern Kentucky Independent District Health Department. The agency provides public health services to the residents of Boone, Campbell, Grant and Kenton Counties in Northern Kentucky.
