Skyward names new board and Candace McGraw as first chair, to advance community’s strategic plan


Skyward (formerly Vision 2015), the organization charged with developing and managing Northern Kentucky’s strategic plan, is pleased to announce the roster of individuals who will make up its first Board of Directors.

The fifteen-person board will be led by Candace McGraw, Chief Executive Officer of the Cincinnati/ Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). McGraw was actively involved with Skyward’s predecessor, Vision 2015, serving on the CEO Roundtable, and was part of the 27-member leadership team that helped craft the myNKY strategic plan.

Skyward President Bill Scheyer felt Candace McGraw was the perfect person to lead the Skyward Board of Directors, “Candace is a big thinker who knows what actions to take in order to elevate Northern Kentucky to new heights.”

The following individuals have been named to the board:

• Candace McGraw – Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG)
• Andrew Aiello – Transit Authority of NKY
• Dan Cahill – HORAN
• John Domaschko, Suits That Rock
• Sarah Giolando – St. Elizabeth Healthcare
• Kim Halbauer- Fifth Third Bank
• Tim Hanner – Navigo College and Career Prep Services
• Jason Jackman – Johnson Investment Counsel
• Leshia Lyman – United Way of Greater Cincinnati
• Katie Meyer- Renaissance Covington
• Kristi Nelson – Pomeroy
• Tom Prewit – Graydon Head
• Sharmili Reddy – City of Ft. Mitchell
• A.J. Schaeffer – Diatom Ventures
• Stacy Tapke – Kenton County Attorney’s Office

Members of the Skyward Board of Directors will act as the governing body of the organization, overseeing everything from operations and financials, to setting policies and staffing.

“As we embark on executing the myNKY plan over the course of the next five years, we are excited to have these strong, engaged, community leaders at the helm of our organization,” Scheyer added.
